Each signed, titled, dated, and numbered in pencil, verso. LITERATURE: Orkin, A Photo Journal, Viking Press, 1981, New York, p. 48; Engel & Gresh, Ruth Orkin: A Photo Spirit, Hatje Cantz, Berlin, 2022, pp. 56-59. In his groundbreaking Family of Man exhibition at The Museum of Modern Art, New York in 1955. Steichen considered the final frame of the sequence featuring an ecstatic child called Marilyn "the gayest spot in the symphony." Overall excellent condition. Each print has a number indicating order of viewing. Very minor curling to the sheets. All sheets are loose, not framed.
