Bronze, gegossen, patiniert. Auf dem Salon d’Automne 1912 stellte Joseph Bernard erstmals das Gipsoriginal dieser zarten lyrischen Frauenfigur vor, die später in Bronze aufgelegt wurde. Laut einigen Quellen fand der erste Bronzeguss vermutlich 1914 statt.

Bronze; cast and patinated. At the Salon d’Automne in 1912, Joseph Bernard first presented the plaster original of this delicate, lyrical female figure, which was later cast in bronze. According to some sources, the first bronze casting was likely executed in 1914.
