- Polke combines figuration and abstraction, experiments with colors and techniques, and finds completely new forms of artistic expression. - As early as 1986, his contribution to the German Pavilion at the Venice Biennale was awarded the Golden Lion. - Today, Polke is considered one of the most important German artists of the late 20th century.

In good condition with beautiful colors. The lower left corner of the leaf and along the lower edge of the leaf on the left are very slightly bumped.
