The oval cut fabric is printed with a quote from Lance Packard in German and English.
The fragment is part of an installation that Kosuth created for documenta 1992. Countless other fabrics printed with quotations covered the paintings and sculptures exhibited in the Neue Galerie.

This work is accompanied by a certificate from the artist with detailed installation instructions.
