Détails du Lot
Bunny Yeager (American, 1929-2014) Bunny Yeager and Maria Stinger (2 works), circa 1950s Gelatin silver prints 14 x 11 inches (35.6 x 27.9 cm) (images/sheets) From the collection of Grapefruit Moon Gallery Maria Stinger goes down in history as Bunny Yeager's first professionally published model. The pair would work together frequently in the years after, with Maria appearing in men's magazines such as Cavalier and Rogue. Their work together contributed to the rise of pin-up culture in the 1950s, and Yeager's photographs of Stinger are still celebrated as a classic example of mid-century glamour photography. These two pieces stand as a testament to both their personal and professional relationship. HID12401132022 © 2025 Heritage Auctions | All Rights Reserved www.HA.com/TexasAuctioneerLicenseNotice
Overall good condition. Undulations to the edges of the sheets, and silver mirroring visible in raking light in the background of each image. Some scattered creasing. Edge chipping and bumps to the corners. Sheets are loose, not framed.
