- Fred Thieler is one of the leading representatives of German Informel. - Colorful and dynamic composition, created through artistically guided chance. - Late work featuring an exceptionally bright and dominant shade of blue. - In the 1950s and 1960s, Thieler was already an important artist of abstract expressionism and was invited to the second documenta in Kassel and the Venice Biennale.
From the artist's estate
In good condition with beautiful colors. The canvas is slightly wavy. The condition report was compiled in daylight with the aid of a UV light source and to the best of our knowledge and belief.
