Under UV: varnish fluoresces green. Some brushy retouching to the shadows bordering the figure of the cat. More finely applied retouching to the shadows of the cat's eyes. A few scattered small areas of brushy retouching at edges and in the background. Extensive but very finely applied dots and dashes of retouching in the background to address craquelure.
