The globular body is decorated with two vases with arrows resting on tripod saddles, followed by two incense burners and two ornaments in the form of scaled dragons suspended by cords from a frieze of ruyi heads adorning the bottom of the neck. Friezes of ruyi heads and pendants, banana leaves and lotus flowers adorn the top of the tubular neck. These motifs are partially repeated around the foot. The base is marked "à la pivoine" in blue underglaze
